Privacy policy
App: Arjy DCP (com.arjy.dcp) · Last updated: October 16, 2026
In short: Arjy DCP does not collect, transmit or share any personal data. The app has no Internet permission and does not communicate with any server.
1. Publisher
The app is published by Thibaut RIFFLARD. Contact: contact@arjyfieldnet.com.
2. Data collected
None. Arjy DCP includes no user account, no advertising, no analytics or statistics tool, and no third-party data collection service.
3. Data displayed by the app
To work, the app queries and listens to the local network your USB adapter is connected to. It displays technical information about the devices present: station names, IP and MAC addresses, mask, gateway, type and role, neighbor switch information (LLDP), cyclic flows. This information:
- is processed locally on your phone, in memory, while you use the app;
- is not sent to any server or to the publisher;
- disappears when you close the app, unless you export it (see below).
4. Changing devices
When you rename a device, change its IP address, enable DHCP or reset it, the app sends the corresponding command to that device, only over the local network connected to your adapter and only at your request. No information is transmitted anywhere else.
5. CSV export
If you use the export function, the app creates a temporary CSV file in its private storage, then opens Android's share menu. You choose the destination app (messaging, storage, etc.); that sharing is governed by that app's privacy policy. Arjy DCP never sends this file by itself.
6. Permissions
- USB host (USB OTG): required to communicate with the USB-to-Ethernet adapter. Android asks for your permission when you plug the adapter in.
- No Internet permission, and no location, contacts, camera, microphone or external storage permission.
7. Responsible use
The app is intended for networks you administer or are authorized to work on. Changing the name or IP address of a device in production can interrupt its communication with the PLC: you are responsible for how you use it.
8. Children
The app is aimed at professionals and is not intended for children. No data is collected, including from minors.
9. Your rights
Since no personal data about you is collected or kept by the publisher, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on the publisher's side. You can delete the app's local data at any time from Android settings (Apps → Arjy DCP → Storage → Clear data) or by uninstalling it. For any question, contact us at the address above.
10. Changes
This policy may change, for example if a future version adds a feature that processes data. The update date is shown at the top of this page.
